The Los Angeles County Democratic Party honors grassroots activists from each Assembly District as the Democrats of the Year. These dedicated activists are first to join the battle against divisive politics we face daily. Assembly District 43 honored Democrats for Neighborhood Action's Elizabeth Richardson, with the 2017 Democrat of the Year award on October 29th at the Sheraton Gateway LAX.
